Constitution amendments can't be passed via Joint Session. So GST can't be passed via Joint Session but Real estate bill, etc can be passed in a joint session. | ||

- The Congress has made up its mind to disrupt every session on some pretext or another...next 3.5 years might be the same as the last 2 sessions - Bureaucracy is working at cross purposes and is at loggerheads with Modi.. - Modi squandered the opportunity of the first 2 budgets and the first one year to take charge of the agenda. - Despite umpteen foreign trips, the first 6 months of this year has seen lesser FDI than last year. The entire signalling has gone totally wrong. - 12 months of continually declining exports. - Current account deficit creeping up. If not for the windfall from oil price declines, the CAD would have been a lot higher. Hence rupee going on a steady decline. To attribute all this to GST and parliament logjam is oversimplifying. The BJP urgently needs to take charge of the narrative unless it wants the country to get pushed into the hands of the Congress crooks. It is sad to see a historic mandate reduced to this. |
