emc, the article cleverly manipulates readers..all those numbers are per calorie(not per lb of food) and it takes lettuce,celery as examples to compare with bacon..wat a joke..how can u measure celery and bacon in terms of calories the give.. u can kill ur hunger eat calories only needed and be good for environment with a veggie diet Happy Vizag | ||

legess... kontha mandi vuntaru...mostly western countries lo....they grew up on a heavy non veg diet...but, environment kosam they became vegans...they don't consume milk or milk products, don't eat meat...and they refrain from using animal products as much as possible.....and it is "by choice"......vallu global warming, vegan diet etc gurinchi chepthe mana lanti vallu all holes moosukoni chethulu kattukuni vinaali....no doubt... inko batch vundhi....adhe...mana jokers.....they are raised on a particular diet because of tradition....they don't eat meat because it is part of the tradition....and many of them naturally have aversion towards meat, because they never tasted it....but they happily use all other animal products, because they are used to do so......There is really no "choice" here.....and on top of that, they argue that man is a herbivore, while happily eating a idly dipped in "ghee"...i don't know which herbivore animal drinks milk produced by an animal of another species..... ohh...by the way...many of them also eat eggs....their argument.."poultry eggs don't have embryo".....agreed...true....but u know those eggs are not dropping down from the heaven....poultry chicken ni penchi eggs harvest chesinaka champuthar ani theleedha veellaki...lol | ||

Every year America lo tonnes of pounds of food thrown away because it expires. Instead of local markets serving local people, its global supply chain. It is destroying and taxing natural resources throgh over use. And large %age gets thrown away. Same in European nations. These are the things that will destroy environment.
