only requires some commitment.. you can all do.. believe it or not.. in any marathon there are going to be more female runners that male. start slow and probably in a year you all can do and keeps you healthy..no BP, No Sugar and No cholesterol..




some commitment kaadhu tonnes of commitment kaavali ..6packers kante anytime runners ki ekkuva opika kaavali ..it is a very slow process ..really takes alot to run 5k ..kudos to all runners

you should have done it..you had couple of 18 milers kada.. should have been easy for you..

this year i went from 8-to-12-to-19-to-22 sudden ga distance pencha.. but took enough care.. all in all i did 275 miles before race.. ideally 350 would have been nice..but no worries..

its big problem j/k.. Usually I never do that but after waking up...I felt guilty for not doing the San Antonio full and to over come it I started running.

you can train at marathon pace.. but long runs..never ever do at marathon pace..there are more chances of getting injured during long runs running at marathon pace. try to avoid that. try to run 60-90 seconds slower than marathon pace for long one. make sure to have protien drink after the mathon, helps you in recovery of muscle tear. I know you are quite athletic and active.. i think you can do in 4.40. don't every try to run faster at early stage..you will steam out after 6-7 miles..




annai marathan pace 5.2 miles per hour speed anukuntunnaaa...so pratcice lo long runs 5 miles per hour maintain cheyamantaaavaaaa...
right now i can maintain 6 miles per hour pace for 2 hours...kani madhyalo ups and down hills vasthe assaaaam....

you can not register with boston. either you have to qualify or you have to raise 3k for charity. qualifying time for my age group is 3.29 i think.. i can never get qualified in this life time.

ee year no plyometrics yat all...vonly wt and some tabata style....as of now diet saving frame but tires not going...ee life plus age plus guage kee inthay yemo

ran for 3-4 weeks during early fall ...bulli bulli 30 min runs ...restart running in spring anukuntunna for now

you should never stop for more than a minute..once you stop..your muscles start cramping.. that's it..you can not run rest of the way..

5.34 is also too good...i can run 10 miles in 90 min but after that its hard i need to take a break...never tried full marathon..

cool..good that you are doing it every year.


this year was work training.. sometime due to time constraints used to run at evening 8.30 and some times around 9.00 pm. one good thing was.. though felt little stiff early during the training was able to train without injury.. took necessary precautions.

enduarance.. takes months to build.. its just practice..if i can do it anyone can do it..i was laziest..used to hate walking or running..

annai, i am not that good as your friend. my target was 4.50.. but did in 5.34 due to some issue.. next time i will train better and try to hit 4.40.. its enough for me.

me march 12.. dc rock and rool....so far ran only 1 10m races..1 hour 34 minutes and 1 hour 31 mins....


its good timing.. around 9.35-9-40 anukunta..you can start to bump up your long runs by a mile or two. are following any specific schedule?.. make sure to stretch properly..if you feel any pains take a couple of days off and have ibuprofen,they really help, trust tme. initially days of running never used to stretch and never used to care about pains.. now.. i listen to my body.. i need to start lower body strengthening exercises to gain some speed. This is my 3rd full.

5.34. nee race eppudu? for us at the start line, temp was really good, 36F and in an hour and half it was into 50's.. too much difference also made runners feel miserable.. the swing should probably be 10 or 15F not 20's..




me march 12.. dc rock and rool....so far ran only 1 10m races..1 hour 34 minutes and 1 hour 31 mins....

thanks guys.. unfortunately.. i tried something new on raceday..which is v.bad..i tried a honey shot and got my stomach upset and threw up couple of times and then lost the energy and muscles started cramping.. completed the rest of the course with walk and run.. target was 4.50.. was off 40 mins.
