Bhayya...... it will not be a healthy precedent frankly. I guess there is no restriction as to where National Anthem can or cannot be used. So in case some one uses it in short film or ad commercial should the crowd stand up everytime they come across such content employing our Anthem? one can say what is wrong with that but given day2day activities a common man gets into as a routine i dont think they appreciate standing everytime someone feels patriotic and plays National Anthem. -my 2 paisal You have your way. Here's a fictitious scenario. You go to a movie. The National Anthem starts playing. You see that the other 87 viewers present in the auditorium have leapt to feet. You however decide that you would remain seated. Now, two questions for you. 1. You have chosen explicitly not to stand. That is very clear. It is not that you were the only person there and you chose to remain seated. You have chosen NOT to stand even when everyone around you is standing. That is making a point. Is it not? 2. You are the media. The moment something like this happens, you tend to ask if the perpetrator of the crime is a Muslim. He may or may not be a Muslim but this shows how ignorant you are about the respect levels for our National Anthem across all Indians - regardless of religion, cast or creed. Isn't it sickening?
