sometimes i see 1 or 2 years old models cost same as latest models.. when new version is release the older models would go for cheaper.. first understand what options you are getting.. car dealers make more money on options and your interest rates and warranty.. They are least bothered about the base price of the vehicle. interest rate: dealers have .5 to 2 points margin in interest rates.. bargain there.. if honda /toyota offers you loan then that is the best.. options: go to true car and try to add options.. some packages may cost you more.. some may not be.. example.. Toyota gives navigation package for 800$.. .you should know that navigation package is only for 800 and it includes lot more other stuff.. like blind spot..parking sensors.. some time people does not know this and go for separate options where dealers get more money. try to bargain on the car which is in the lot.. not on the one which they need to bring.. they would come down at least 1k on the car which is in lot.. | ||

10% is reasonable.. ••••• can is my opinion... hidden costs em undavu... car price+taxes+govt fees (registration, titles etc etc).. rough figure cheppale ante nee car price meeda oka 15-20% yesko taxes and fees... if u buy additional warranty, maintenance and GAP insurance etc. avi extra. go to any top credit unions and get pre-approval... tell them ur planning to buy a car and didnt make a decision yet but wanna get pre-approved for 30k or so... vaallu 2-3 days la approve chesi will send u a confirmation.. daani base meeda u can buy the car but dealer wont give u the car until he gets the check so plan accordingly... nee friends or colleagues in adugu which is best insurance in the neighborhood... once u decide on the car at dealer, u can call the insurance company and buy insurance then and there... keep a track of national holidays, u can buy a car on july 4th bcoz ur getting a good deal but insurance company may not be open... plan accordingly.. nuvvem cheyyav... mottam dealer chooskuntaadu... he will give temp registration initially and send the paperwork to DMV... vaalu neeku plates and bank ki title pampistaaru..
Ippudu antha truecar, online offers antunnaru... but online or on the phone or in person - - First decide on the car, do ur research on the price in the surrounding areas... find the cheapest and ask other dealers to beat it by a good margin.. prove to the sales guy that ur a serious buyer, show him ur pre-approval... appudu negotiate cheyyi... back in 2010 i bought an used nissan altima which was listed for 23k for 16k.. I told the sales guy 'here is my down payment, here is my credit score, i am not leaving without a car - now give me a deal'... full saava d'kina.. ... after i signed the paperwork he said 'if u ever wanna be a sales agent, contact me'.. lol... dnt get intimidated, that the first thing they try to do.. - go on month ends, u get good deals because they have to meet targets (proven theory) idi kooda follow ayipo... example - buying in North Jersey vs central jersey there is always a difference..
