if you've another working pc, try this method... create windows defender offline cd/dvd/flash drive... follow this link... http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows/what-is-windows-d efender-offline after that, go to the infected/suspected machine and boot it from the offline disk, runscan and fix any infection found... usually this scan takes lot off time so only select the system partition at this stage. | ||

Hope you have tried F8 and chose the option. F9 will not show the menu. Try recovery mode with restore point also as last option before repair/re-image. Windows 7/8/10 ? | ||
