Why did that happen? Why did the govt in power not use their police? Should not the govt of the day, be exposed for their dereliction of duty? And what about the govts that followed, dont they have any responsibility? I am all for judging Satya Sai, as a criminal, but how can we without following due process? Common people being prejudiced is not the same as being grilled by CBI or ED or Media. When six young people were killed in Satya Sai Baba's residence in 1993, he wasn't even questioned as a witness! The scene was such a staged one that even those who believe every naxalite encounter is genuine wouldn't fall for it.
I didn't claim that donors to Babas and Gurus want credit. All I claimed is that very little credit (if any) goes to the original donors whilst the Gurus or Swamis get so much credit that they are almost treated as God and there are people who say they should be immune from production if there is a genuine ground for doubt. Only the President of India and top notch Gurus manage such immunity. Even gurus are very aggressively grilled. Infact, lot of people also have prejudice who judge without even checking facts. Seeing someone in saffron, he/she is suspected, by a few. You havent come across such cases? If donors want credit, wont they choose an appropriate way of spending their money? The problem is that politicians, filmstars etc. are easily aggressively grilled by media, people, investigative agencies etc. And anything about a logical and rational explanation is not accepted from them. Imagine a politician or a filmstar claiming that his bank employee wife just left her body by herself deliberately while she was happy and she had a very young daughter...won't that person be grilled? In fact, just got creamating without autopsy and informing her parents, that celebrity would probably be arrested! Even politicians who do lots of charitable work. Sometimes even with money earned through business, are not let off when suspicion of a crime is aroused. Ramalinga Raju for instance was convicted (although appeal is pending) for financial fraud (less severe than murder) despite his massive charity with his own money. As time progressed, Sadhguru focused his efforts on the completion of the Dhyanalinga, and Vijji was intimately involved in the process. It is not easy to leave like this without causing any damage to the body. Just walking out of your body like you drop your clothes and go is not an ordinary thing. When a person has reached that point in his life when he feels everything that he needs is fulfilled, and there is nothing more to see in his life, he drops his body, willfully. If there is any struggle or injury, it means suicide. When there is no struggle, when somebody just walks out like he walks out of a room, that’s Mahasamadhi. | ||

His official website (http://isha.sadhguru.org/man/family-matters/vijji/) states that she just left her body deliberately without committing suicide! While one mystery is how a bank employee who really wanted to have a child chose to give birth but not raise her daughter, her ability to do so without using any conventional means of suicide is another mystery. The final mystery relates to Sadhguru's alleged (Indian Express article in 1997 supposedly says that) decision to burn her body without the minimum courtesy of letting her parents know. Anybody with answers? I am surprised that there's so little about his wife despite her extraordinary ability of being able to simply leave her body at a time of her choosing.
