1. GO 523 issued by AP govt on 28.9.2013 transferring land to APIIC on 1 lakh /per acre.
(In the above GO there is a condition 2, that mistakenly or intentionally says the land should be alloted, transferred, leased/sold out to any third parties)
2. Director, VBC fertilizers wrote letter to AP govt, for requesting the land on 04.10.2013
3. May be upon receiving the letter, the officials might have noticed the mistake in GO 523 and removed the 2nd condition by issuing another GO, GO 547.
That means, the land will stay with APIIC, not transferrable to any
4. Director of VB fertilizers wrote a second letter on 28.06.2014 for requesting the land
5. Now govt issued GO 269 on 15.07.2015, by nullifying the clause in GO 547, which says the land cannot be transferred, and transferred the land to VB fertilizers

6 greenfield projects to get incentives in A.P.

Six industrial units under construction in the State have received State Government support and subsidies according to the new Industrial investment policy for 2010-2015.
New projects include that of UPI Polymers, Procter & Gamble, Sanvira Industries, Sentini Infra, VBC Fertilizers, Idupulapadu Cotton Mills and Chemicals, Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (Kribco). These companies will receive subsidies for new projects.
State Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Industries K. Pradeep Chandra, in separate Government orders issued last week, has outlined various incentives these companies are entitled to as per the industrial policy.
As per the policy, they are entitled to 50 per cent rebate on value added tax and central sales tax for a period of five years from the date of commencement of production.
The State Investment Promotion Board, the apex body Chaired by the State Chief Minister, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has taken into consideration various aspects of the policy and requests made by these companies to extend sops according to norms.
Krishak Bharat Cooperative Ltd (Kribco) has proposed a fertiliser complex with an outlay of Rs 1800 crore in Nellore district.
Consumer goods major Procter & Gamble’s Mahboobnagar project is with an outlay of Rs 370 crore.
VBC Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd is setting up a urea plant along with a captive 2x67.5 mw captive power plant at Jayanthipuram village in Krishna district of the State with an outlay of Rs 7578 crore. Sentini Infra is setting up a glass containers and float glass manufacturing unit at West Godavari with an investment of Rs 600 crore. A green coke ••• calcination facility has been proposed by Sanvira Industries Ltd in Visakhapatnam. It will have a co-generation capacity of 25 MW. The project cost is put at Rs 360 crore.
UPI Polymers has proposed a Rs 165-crore polyethylene pipe and corrugated pipe manufacturing unit in Nellore district of the State.
Idupulapadu Cotton Mills has planned a Rs 108-crore unit in Guntur district. It has proposed a ginning, spinning and cotton seed oil refinery project.
All these new projects will also get 10 per cent reimbursement of stamp duty and transfer duty paid by the industry on purchase of land meant for industrial use. They will be extended fixed power cost rebate of 75 paise per unit for five years.
The Government will ensure creation of related infrastructure necessary for setting up of these units. |

1) He gave 1100 acres of centrally located land for a 2000 crore investment..
2 )And also some a soft loan of Rs 9,500 crore at 0.1 per cent rate of interest and repayable over 20 years.
3) Facilities for solid-waste disposal and effluent treatment plants would also be developed by the state government
4) A dedicated power connection of 200-KW will be provided to the factory while 14,000 cubic metre water per day would be supplied by the state water supply department.
All these for an investment of just 2000 Cr...
