bullying in school is very real, but it is serious crime.. like ragging in India If the kid looks awkward/weak, he will be subjected to bullying by peers. | ||

wrong! i have posted many instances of these...even in last week buddu's thed high school bullying is aar yaa paar...ee karate/jujitsu stuff should make your kid confident enough to step away from a confrontation, without a need to raise fists locality lo desis yekkuva conc untay school motham desis undaru you need to undertand the pyramid/cluster structure 5-10 mile radius of a heavily populated town will have 4-5 elementary schools which get rolled up into 2-3 middle schools which get rolled up into 1-2 high schools so you can end up in a class room with kids from across the tracks - makkus, blacks ( no disrespect, that is how the system works) wallatho fight sestha antay repu waadu local gang or tupaki vesukuni vasthaadu you need to watch out for bullying from elementary/middle school age...victims get confused...perps take it for granted world famous ashburn lo 3 girls in kindergarten ( age 5) were being bullied by other kids due to skin color...teacher had to reach out to all the parents in the class...this comes from bad parenting get involved in kid's school life other than grades - talk to teacher often, be available as volunteer for some school activity every 2 month at least... check how your kid interacts with others during outside activities ( no, kumon does not count!), recess, lunch time... almost every kid keeps a close circle of friends...3-4 ...ask abt how they do as a group too..do they stick together ...other concern will be when 1 or some of them start bullying other kids is he/she altering choices recently due to peer comments( we faced this last year) finally if school does not involve in active anti-bullying stuff...raise your voice through direct communication/pta etc. mana childhood lo desham type lo punch kee punch will make you stronger anna feel nundi bayataki randi kids are much more vulnerable in this country | ||

does knowing martial arts really help bullying. i thought bullying is mostly mental and not physical. you cannot go and beat the other kid just because he said something. | ||

you need constant feed back from kids, you need to train them constantly , you need to monitor kids behavior and mood every day, spend some at least 15 20 mins to know whats going on in the school with friendly chat, some time our kids also bully , don't think that our kids are always right | ||

the only way to stop a bully is to be a bigger bully. this works 100% of the times. complaints, cases ivinni waste doesnt work. | ||

I was just seeing some houses in zillow/trulia with good school ratings, some of schools have review comments on Bullying. did you face any problem for your kids in schools. how do you counter act, get some martial arts/karate coaching for your kids to protect from bullying? |
