Redclaw777:WTF awaits....and he looks good to take it too.....If he does, this shall become the greatest season achievement wise in the Open era... Missing French & Cincinnati once again are the only sour points....
Hello mastaru - John McEnroe - 0.965 (82-3) is the best season in Tennis history but he won only 2 Slams that year. Connors had 0.957 (89-4) second best, but he did not win any majors and he played an alternate tour. So next 2 are Federer with 0.953 and 0.948. Of course Djoker had a great year, but i would not put him above Federer of 2006. It would be a close second. He is still at only 78-5 this year. He won the big tournaments though - the Slams and the Masters. The jury is still out. |

First ever player to win 6 ATP 1000 master's in a calendar year.. He participated in 7 out of the 9 tournaments winning 6. 3 Slams this year.. Outstanding year by any means. Obviously French open is a disappointment but still a very satisfying year for him and his fans.
