I was referred to my employer by one of my childhood fren. I dont know what my employer gives him ...but before I join, I negotiated what is good for me and he is ok with that agreement. till date, we are on the same agreement. its been 5 years since I am with this employer. if I come to know that my fren is getting money by referring me, I dont feel bad. because what ever I negotiated before joining, I am getting it.... I talk with vendors/ billing/ etc ...so there is no manipulation.why would I care if my fren is getting some amount from my employer's cut? | ||

Came to know about this from my cousin. He joined a consultancy where his MS senior is working and he referred him. Today, he came to know that his senior negotiated $3/hour cut from consultancy guy. One time referral bonus is common but this kind of cut seems very cheap. Negative people suck the life out of you.
