Lisa once bought a Donkey from a Farmer. She paid $100 upfront. Unfortunately, the Farmer returned to Lisa the next morning and declared that the Donkey had died the previous night. Lisa demanded the Farmer to return her $100. There were no print transactions between the two. The Farmer, with utmost humility, responded that he had spent the $100 trying to save the Donkey's life, which turned out to be a worthless cause. Lisa, then thought for a day, and asked the Farmer to give her the Dead Donkey. The Farmer asked her what she was going to do with it, to which she did not say a word. Nevertheless, the Farmer stood by the end of his transaction, and gave her the Dead Donkey. After a month, the Farmer, and Lisa, bumped into each other at a shopping mall. The Farmer asked her how did it go with the Dead Donkey? Lisa replied, "Oh, I raffled it off, sold 500 tickets each at $2, and made $898 profit in the entire ordeal!!" The Farmer was perplexed. "Nobody complained??", he screamed out of amazement. Lisa said, "Just the one person who won the Raffle, complained about the Dead Donkey, so I returned his $2!!". Lisa now works for a major Investment Bank in New York City. "Chill Bro. I told you to let it go!!" - The Budhha. | ||
