dont say.. They will.. considering the master plan of amaraavti....even funds that will be alloted for backward districts will be spent for Amaravati... Thats what happened when few months back ..when 350crs were released by center... a collector from RS ..asked funds from this 350 for some reason( dont know exact reason)... the reply from CBN.. is these funds will not be for that and will not be spent...  | ||

read mu view completely.. 1st .. before split, STATE and CENTRAL should have invested in developing infra through out the state(if not at least region wise Hyd from T, Vizag from UA, VW from CA and TPT from RS) but that did not happen and instead, GOVT. spent atmost on HYD and a small percentage on Vizag.. as a result you can see the present economic activity and GDP of these two cities. Now, After the state split, every one know, state doesnt have money, so It should depend on CENTER for funds. So, what is state asking for (even though I dont have proof from Official docs, this is what I have been reading in news papers, "as state gov is requesting for") 1. 20000 crs on Capital for development of infra. 2. 100% custom and tax incentives from center for industries setting up in CRDA 3. 10000 crs for total 7 back ward districts of UA and Seema. 3. Metro in amaravati and Vizag. I am not gonna list about all...just take this as an example and analyze how its gonna influence RS... So, think about this... After 3-4 years, when Amaravati with its GOOD INFRA (as obviously Center will be spending in phases), INCENTIVES FROM STATE AND CENTER and CBN being promoting Amaravati aggressively. WHAT OTHER REGION CAN BE AS ATTRACTIVE AS AMARAVATI FOR ANY INVESTOR.... Next take Vizag... Agree it or not, It already has got good infra, the reason being its location, being a coast city, the location advantage made Govt to spend good amount on developing existing infra and see the present involvement of the government in improving it.. be it Bhogapuram, Port, Metro, Socio infra, what ever.. and Its been promoted as petro-chemical (obviously right? coastal! so no issues) pharmacy, Bio (Both industries are dependent on Water and Air), come to INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, SEMI CONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING & ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING...even for this...VIZAG is promoted well by goverenment... Now compare these 2 attractive regions [after 3-4 years....Amaravati with good infra, Incentives, availability of HR (obvious migration from RS, similar to HYD) and encouragement from STATE (they already stated caring Industries coming to like a just born Baby)... and Vizag with its proposed investment on Infra development and promotion of GOVT. for every sector/Industry.....] with seema...has it got any good infra present?? be it connecting roads to NH's or connectivity to ports? or good living conditions in any place/town in Seema (urban infra or social infra).. so now tell me....why would any investor want to come to RS leaving Amaravati and Vizag?? Even to be hopeful in coming years....has govt proposed any investment in improving the Infrastructure in SEEMA? where we can expect some industrialization in this region?? Just see this one example, how location advantage with good administration and incentives can bring investments.... Consider, all these industries... Pepsi, Hero Honda, Foxconn, and all the other investments in Sricity.. they are coming because of location advantage, continous improvemet of its infra and sricity being close to Tamilnadu region (logistical advantages to serve TN) ready availability of trained HR from TN, good connectivity to KPNM PRT (its a 4 lane and started 6 lane) and Chennai air Cargo... custom and tax Incentives from Center and State ( which were sanctioned under SEZ policy) and ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF MANAGEMENT in improving infra, connecting with investors, improving life of ppl in surrounding regions... So, considering a place, which had been a barren land with out any hope to the ppl around once with the present region of attracting more than 300+ companies with investment of 20-30 k crores and 1lakh ppl.......which is because of efficient and good management... KEEP IN MIND SRICITY IS A PRIVATE PROJECT SANCTIONED DURING UPA TIME INCLUDING INCENTIVES AND LAND..(AND DONT BRING SRICITY EVERY TIME INTO DISCUSSION..AS THE CREDIT GOES TO PRIVATE MANAGEMENT, IF NOT PREVIOUS GOVT.) we will agree that we dont have water, so why cannt governemnt try to promote industries which requires minimum water..be it IT, Semi and elect. manufacturing.. have you seen any projects like FAB CITY ..( I think there is one in Vizag), so why cannt Seema being promoted for those industries atleaset over to other regions??? (Dont bring LAVA, Celkon, Micromax, Karbonn... we are 2 cr ppl in this region and know how many industries and jobs are required, so these are not enough) Take ITES.. Bangalore..being silicon valley of India... present condition is huge Traffic problem, Bad governance, increase in office rentals, living expenses....Chennai... same disadvantages as bangalore... So, keeping Tirupati at a distance of >200km from Bangalore and >130km from chennai... why cannt govt promote Tirupati for IT over Vizag?? Similar is with Semi and electronic manu industry.. why cannt this region over others be promoted?? SIMPLE!! NO AVAILABILITY OF INFRA...IS GOVT PLANNING TO SPEND ANY?? NO.. JUST ANOTHER HYD IN THE NAME OF AMARAVATI IN MAKING .. even after 40-50 years..I see same SEEMA with below par economic conditions of ppl.. unless these govt. really concentrates on the region.. PS: coming to IIT, IISER, IIIT.. these doesnt bring any jobs or industry....unless Govt. plays an active role in bringing R&D to the region.... } | ||

But, definitely SPLIT is a BOON to NEW AP! Lot of activity and potential for growth. No LEADER can satisfy ALL THE PEOPLE or ALL THE REGIONS. CBN is doing OK so far, if NOT GREAT. And CRITICISM is GOOD for democracy and AP. | ||

Definitely MOST of the districts in NEW AP are getting projects (big or small), albeit on paper. Hope they come to fruition. Couple of districts are getting screwed though, especially my own Kadapa district. Shame on CBN for ignoring Kadapa people based on political vendetta. Surprisingly Jagan is ALSO NOT HIGHLIGHTING the government negligence towards Kadapa. Few other districts are Prakasham and Vijayanagaram in that order in getting neglected. | ||
