Being a fan of War genre (esp. 2nd world war) and movies with backdrop, I was attracted to this movie from the day I saw the trailer. My enthusiasm doubled as the movie is from one of my fav. director. 1st things 1st.. Unlike the earlier movies of Krish, the plot is not so thick. Wondered why he took a 2nd world war canvas to narrate such a regular point, but the brilliance of director and the dialogue writer will stand out in bringing the analogy btwn the 'routine' story point to 2nd world war Though the entire story is on shaky grounds, the cinematography really covered any short comings in the basic point. there is hardly a boring moment despite the narration is slow. Kudos to Krish for his attention to detail and portrayal of war scenes given his limited budget. Performances: Varun tej did a really good job. Never had an awkward expression. His 'towering(literally) personality though feels awkward in some shots (ee megas ento.. unte 5.3 untaru lekapote 6.7 untaru) Villain role mostly single expression, but thats ok.. given his limited screen presence. heroine too did her job well. + ves: Concept, top notch dialogues, emotional scenes and best cinematography and some good war scenes, and avasarala comedy -ves : single line story, and some bad war scenes. I was expecting more 'rustic' feel to war scenes. fresh ga maraka antakunda dress nalagakunda unde uniform scenes emotion touch ivvavu. Overall rating: 3.5/5 cinematography: recent best. much btr than Bahubali Go and watch it. Krish wont disappoint u |
