I just got a call from my friend (could not stop myself posting here though i am on vacation) that this guy is from his own town and came to few times to his (my friend's) house for birth day party etc., ironically few years ago when his mother visited and she was about to leave in a day or two expired and he had to send the mortal remains of mother  Not sure yet (more details to be known by 2maro) seems the family probably is planning to have funeral here itself instead of sending body to India. As far as donations are concerned I asked my friend to check on that and hopefully might get some details tomorrow. The best life insurance is what's called "term life". You choose how much coverage you want. Then decide the period (20, 30 yrs etc), then shop for the best rate. If something were to happen to the insured before the term, then you get the covered amount. If nothing happens, then you get nothing. | ||

Yep , you be billed after deductible . For Example , you had a bill of 50k for surgery , your dedutable is 2k, and 75-25 is your plan , with max out of pocket expense is 2500 for individual and 7.5k for family , then you pay 2k ( deductable) ; 48 k is left , which is 48 * 1/4 , which is 12k , but you only pay 500 and rest is paid by insurance, - | ||
