This would be the ‘largest and most modern’ plant – four-lakh kilo litres capacity -- of the company that has over 25 plants globally, Jalaj Dani, president-HR, International and Chemicals, told at the MoU signing ceremony which was attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. To be set up in Pudi village on 110 acres, the paints facility is likely to create employment for 700 persons and entail the investment over 12 years. Under the MoU, the State government will provide gross VAT/gross State GST reimbursement of 100 per cent of the eligible capital investment for 12 years from the date of commercial production. This, however, is subject to Asian Paints Ltd achieving 70 per cent of the proposed Rs.1,750 crore investment within five years from the date of commencement of commercial production. Other incentives will be according to the IIPP 2010-15, while water is to be offered at the rate of Rs.15 per KL, a government release said. Noting that the company was in discussion with the State government for 10 months, Mr. Dani said: “We have seen demonstration of Make in India and ease of doing business… lot of speed in decision making.†On the sidelines, he told presspersons that the investment was in line with the company’s focus on building capacities in south and eastern parts of the country. It continued to evaluate the prospects of setting up more plants, he said. Mr. Naidu said the proposed Asian Paints plant apart from catering to the markets of Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh besides Andhra Pradesh would attract a host of ancillary units. “It is our project now,†he said, urging Mr. Dani and executives of Asian Paints to ensure early implementation of the project, preferably within two-and-a-half years. Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister said, was becoming a preferred destination for investors. you guys have.. once.. medium and tank based irrigation ni vongo bettaru. which are life line for TG and Seema.. rayala kalam lo unna chala cheruvulu ni nasanam chesaru,. without proper maintenance. they are huge.. chala oorla untayi.. cheruvu or samudram ane ending tho.. eg. Bukkaraya samudram, brahma samudram, timma samudram, ranga samudram, rayala cheruvu, obula devara cheruvu etc.. even in TG.. some of these are in hundreds of acres.. seema and TG lo irrigation ki ivi key.. annitini spoil chesaru. coastal dists have river water advantage. ila tanks bagu cheste contractors ki dabbulu ravu kabatti consecutive govts always focused on huge irrigation projects. Seema and TG lost badly due to this approach | ||

AP proposed center for funds of 20k for amaravati and 15 for UA nd SEEMA ...35K total... apart from..infra like metro, ports, air ports.... Instead we would have been happy if it is..... 10k for ADMINISTRATIVE CAPITAL...REMAINING 25K SPREAD ACROSS UA, COSTA, SEEMA... for infra development... so that we will be getting 3 regions developed and a good capital ment for good administration... And added to this.. Amaravati..with a metro, planned infra, promotion from govt, 9 industrial cities and on the other side..Vizag being promoted aggressively, having good infra already......, and having its share of funds for infra like metro, etc.... what is hope for seema??? | ||

Because Vizag is scenic and has access to beaches with good quality of life, which is attractive to IT companies and their employees... CBN's 99-2004 focus on placing AP(Hyd) IT on the world map, and to some extent Vizag IT. Iif he had one more term, he would have brought the companies to Vizag and Tirupathi too.. Watch what CBN does for the next 3 years and then complain at the polls...CBN is determined to develop industries all over the state this time, he is distributing eveything across the entire state...give him 3 years and then complain... | ||

I am talking about a region here.. do you know the situation of Kadapa, Anantapur, Chittoor and Kurnool? Kadapa and kurnool are the states once to have highest no of migrated ppl to arab countries.. same is the situation with anantapure and chittore.. ppl are migrating...especially farmers.. can you imagine.. ppl in chittoor are not happy with investments and happenings in just a 60km apart place tirupati??? you know why??? consider zombies as example.. who eat his next due to hunger... (check manachittoor) Govt proposal is 20k for amaravati and 15 k for backward dst of UA and RS... With govt. promising for 100% incentives for industries coming around amaravati, center pomising funds for infra, metro, and vizag already being a coastal location advantage, metro, and AP promoting agressively in every industry be it IT, pharma, Petro-chemical...
