Amway gurinchi last 2 months research chesaa.. It is 60 year old company. spun off other companies that did not survive like Quixtar etc.. Amway exists to this day, and is globally present. The pyramid scheme is based off what they call Profit-Sharing, distributed as Performance Bonus. There are a large number of people receiving Half a Million Dollars in Bonuses each year, leave alone free and paid holidays, vacations for the entire family, that includes airfare and hotel stay and food expenses. It is not at all a bad business model. They do not own any wholesale and retail stores, no store-houses, and almost negligible advertising in print and a/v media. It works like this - You buy your groceries and utilities from Costco, or BJs, ranging from daily use perishable items like Milk, Eggs, bread and all other kinds of eatables to other non-perishable durable items - soaps. vaseline, shampoo etc... your regular routine day-to-day use, in bulk in wholesale. What do you get in return for buying those items, and recommending those purchases to your friends and family? What if Costco and BJs started sharing their profits with you because, you are the Network Advertising Agency yourselves. The only problem with Amway - the Product Catalogue is so small, like really so so small... they have 1 toothpaste, and 2 deodorants, and 2 flavors of meal-replacement milk shakes.. and you name it, they probably have just one brand selling just one flavor, through the rest of your life!!!! To add to that, they are all ridiculously pricey. A Twin-pack Axe for Men 4 fl-oz each, is just over $7 at Walmart. Amway sells a brand you have never even heard of at the same 4 fl-oz each, at over $14. No point joining, and buying, or for that matter recommending and selling to your friend, when you are anyways going to end-up buying in Costco and BJs if you want variety, and are budget conscious.
