Dear XYZ gaaru, Greetings. As you may know, a Foundation Ceremony is to be held for Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, on October 22. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, appealed to the public to support the building and development of the capital 'brick by brick'. A campaign - My Brick, My Amaravati (నా à°à°à±à° - నా à°à°®à°°à°¾à°µà°¤à°¿), has been launched at amaravati.gov.in for interested public to sponsor 'bricks' with each brick at Rs. 10. That web site is not yet enabled to collect funds from people outside India. Many TANA members have contacted us asking if they can help develop the AP capital by donating to TANA instead. TANA has already been collecting funds for the development of the new capital of AP and those interested in donating to it through the brick by brick campaign can send their donations to TANA. To donate, please go to www.tana.org/donate and select 'Capital Development Fund - AP' from the drop-down box, and write the number of bricks you are sponsoring in the 'Comments' section. We estimate that each dollar of donation counts towards 6 (six) bricks. Donations through checks written in the name of TANA can be mailed to TANA, 26233 Taft Rd, Novi, MI 48374. Please mention AP Capital Development Fund in the memo section. Donations made to TANA are tax-deductible in US to the extent allowed by law. Please send an e-mail to info@tana.org if you have any questions. V.
