Again, my knowledge in this subject is limited but I think Baahubali had the highest pre-release expectations in the history of Telugu cinema so 23 crores pettatam antha surprising kaademo. I think the biggest chunk of the unexpected collections came from Rest of India (outside Telugu states, including dubbed versions) and overseas markets. Don't get me wrong. I am not suggesting that it did not do exceptionally well in Telugu states, all I am saying is that the collections in Telugu states were x% above expectations and the collections elsewhere were something like 10x% above expectations. Bottomline: I wouldn't be surprised if Dil Raju made a pre-release agreement to give 80% of the collections beyond 23 crores to the producer. "Sakshi is a most balanced and independent media. If my understanding of baahubali distribution agreement is correct, he only made 4 crores [ 20% of (43 crores - 23 crores)] and Rudramadevi Vizag + Nizam both Dil Raju. The loss in both areas together would exceed 4 crores. So Baahubali and RD together chooste, Dil Raju ki overall ga loss kada?
