So, do you think indirect employment can change the fate of the ppl in region ( I cant think indirect employment being more that 1000-2000 at very max) and It will take time?? You know where the competitors can reach in that time?? for example, can you imagine the the infrastructure Vijayawada region is going to get by that time and cannt you analyze which place will be proffered by companies at that time? so, at what expense is that infrastructure being funded?? and at what expense hyd had been brought to this state?? govt job is to show a job and not hand hold and deliver a job??? where is the oppurtunity??? check the apiic available land bank details, availability of 60-65k acers in each of the 4 districts of rayalseema, and still cbn lobying for excemptions in amaravati... theres something called secondary effects...Original jobs TN vallaki ekkuva vellina ppl need food, stores and other supplies which will bring secondary jobs to chittoor residents...IIT and IISER impact will be visible in a few years, there will be several industries that will cross over from TN in chitoor... And coming to IIT and IISER , it does nt bring any jobs to locals, there might be r&d activity and for that industries need not come be around IIT and IISER. Foxconn already had a manf. unit in sriperambadur for nokia, trained labours, after nokia's exit, to bring operational costs down, they shut the chennai plant and started searching for alternate location with chennai benifits and thus found sricity, which is at the border of chennai.. since they already invested in trained labour, they are after tamilnadu labours.
