Happened to see in Phoenix on Saturday Night with Family. House full upto 180 members. Over all it is interesting to watch without a boring moment even thought execution at placed could have better. Hats off to Guna for Producing and Directing is Historical Movie, at his level best. Lets Begin.... First 20 Minutes of the movie is superb with racy screenplay and direction. Teenaga Rudrama acted very well, ferocious. Especially the scene when she realized that she is not man - Superbly taken.... Then Aanushka's entry with Rudradeva is ok, not so bad fight scene. But the movie slowly gets slow, even thought there is no borning moment Bunny Entrance did not actually set the screen on fire, but he acted well. The reason why I say is , all the action scenes involving bunny have low quality graphics and remove the impact from the scene Chiru's voice is refreshing with Marco polo telling the entire tale about Rudrama. Guna intelligently shown the good deeds of rudrama in a cartoon depiction. Rana is diginified and made his impact, but role is limited. Prakash Raj, Suman and Suman's brother character , Nitya played their roles well. Second half was slow and jerky , but director did not make us feel bore at any time even thought nothing was pretty exciting +tives 1. Excellent Story 2. Cinematography and Costumes 3. Anushka as Rudradeva - good and controlled acting 4. Praksh raj and Rana, Suman decent perfromances 5. Bunny very good performance 5. Very goos direction in first 20 minutes, and bits and pieces after 6. Young Rudrama performance -tives 1. All action episodes , except with young rudrama are pretty ineffective with lack of god fights and cheap graphics. Includes Rudrama and GGR action episodes 2. Rudrama was shown taking a second fiddle , and it gave an impression that GGR is soul abd brain behind her success 3. Confusing and very weak climax. climax fight was not upto the mark 4. except 1 song all remaining sucks big time if GUNA AVOIDED graphics abd VFX at places completely and made actors to work on real sets and real fighting without jerky rope sequences, things would have been much better. Anushka as Rudram devi is very heavy and could not fight well Overall one must watch, this is paia vasul and good historical experience |
