Vook - little bittu vistory - my time lines may be wrong.. heppudoo sadivindhi.. Pre-Independence : around 1930's - there was some hindu author who released a book "Rangila Rasul" - based on prophet Mohammad's alleged child marriages - he was arrested on a complaint by British raj, but was released as there were no laws against it. During the court precedings which were clearly going against the muslim's sentiments, the author was killed by young muslim (peru gurthu ledhu) in the court. this muslim kid was below 20 years i believe. after extensive trail which involved Mohammad Ali Jinnah who was a famous lawyer and politician, the kid was sentenced to death by hanging. Later a law was drafted by British raj, to avoid such crimes. None other than Jinnah saab was the strongest contributor to this law, and was also on the bench who drafted the bill.
