No I did not say that! What I said was that Nexus line was a reference device line and an ad to Google services. It wasn't meant to be a mass market product.
It is not a flop. It is reference device. Android is a huge success story for Google.

For a vast majority of people, the two apps I mentioned are part of that 10.
What do you mean Google failed in phone business? Google's phone business is Android! And it is doing exceedingly well there. Nexus line is conceived just to show a reference device to other phone manufacturers and also act as an "Ad" to Google services.

no it is not the case Microsoft was not able to come to market on time with a stable platform apps on just one aspect having android why google failed in phone business ? Why do you think the market for Windows phones is at 2.7% Lack of apps. That's the only reason.
