Of course that is grossly exaggerated. If Reddies complain on caste basis, all castes except Velamas must follow suit! However, one point to be noted is that although Reddies are given enormous representation by KCR (in terms of numbers), they are given very little power. KCR is extremely dictatorial and barring Harish Rao and KTR, the other ministers are more or less dummies in his cabinet. Some slight independence may be given to Tummala Nageshwar Rao but I don't think any other minister wields any real power. "Sakshi is a most balanced and independent media. I agree. As I said in my previous post, the agriculture minister who halls from the same district as Ganesh Gupta might be dropped. And Kavita is said to be gaining strength in TRS. This man is a clear follower of her. Also, there are no Vyshyas in the cabinet so far. The only drawback is that he is a first time MLA. He contested as an MP in the past but lost. My views: 1. Caste and district equations are very unfavorable to Padma Devender Reddy. CM and one of the most important ministers are already from Medak. And 1/3rd of KDR's cabinet and TRS MLAs are Reddys already. 2. Kadiyam Srihari may not be dropped keeping in view the upcoming by-election to Warangal LS that he vacated. That leaves only Chandulal from Warangal but since he is the lone ST in the cabinet, he'd have to be replaced by another ST. Kommineni didn't mention any ST probable. 3. Hyderabad minister maybe Nayini Narsimha Reddy. The other three are essential for the oncoming GHMC polls. MD. Ali for minority votes in old city, Talasani and Padma Rao have been district President's for TDP and TRS in Greater Hyderabad in the past. 4. Pocharam from Nizamabad might be dropped due to allegations of illegal sand mining, illegal constructions and also the failure of his department in controlling farmer suicides.
