If there is no address change...passport renewal is 2 days. Passport services backoffice managed by TCS....very good. Surprisingly at the last counter they ask you to fill the feedback form as well....very professional. | ||

That happens in the passport office now. They scrutinize all those details and verify your identity. You spend close to an hour in the passport kendra and get your details verified in three counters. I got my passport renewed with address change to chennai (my address on old passport is US address as it was renewed there) last month. No bribe, No lines, got my passport in 2 weeks. Police verification also no home visit...i got a call from my local police station where there is a dept that takes care of address verification....sign the form thats it. No bribes nothing. Get a learner license slot in telangana RTA website. (You can pay online using a credit card). Go to the RTA on the appointment day and complete your CBT based learner license test. You will get the LLR immediately. Then learn/wait for a month. Get an appointment for driving test on the RTA webpage - Pay using credit card online. Go there and take the test. You will have the license in your mailbox within a week. (Provided you pass the test) Now, if you pay bribe and go through an agent, you will be passed regardless of how you perform. If you go through the proper channel, you will fail if you commit a mistake. That's the risk.
