singapore model is different and sustainable.. esp for densely populated countries like India, it applies more. singapore became 3rd richest nation in the world.. High GDP. least unemployment.. best in school education.. top class livable conditions.. on the other hand, europe is crumbling. They got advantage of being knowledge societies for the past century. knowledge societies. very less populated. so the welfare model is different. historic advantage valla nettukostunnaru. present situation is not so rosy. for eg. I lived there for few months.. welfare is a rude word in government circles...u may bring some here and there articles...but the actual fact is being poor in Singapore is your own fault...all the schemes directed towards the poor and laid off are rigorously tested.. I have seen many old people driving taxis in Singapore... Singapore should n't be a paradigm of development for countries like India... | ||
