Change of fortunes for Telugu Chief Ministers Last one month had seen a change of fortunes for the Chief Ministers of the Telugu. We have seen so far Chandrababu Naidu toiling under various problems like deficit budget, non-cooperative center etc. More over the accident at Rajahmundry and the cash for vote scam almost made Naidu breathless. On the other side, KCR had a peaceful time in Telangana which he called as the second richest state in the country. However things have changed a bit in the last few days. Naidu is slowly but surely making an impact with Pattiseema success and placing AP second in World Bank’s list in terms of ease of business. A bit more relaxed Naidu is now focusing on Amaravati construction. However problems suddenly cropped out of no where for KCR. Telangana was ranked 13 in World Bank’s ease of business list while an RTI reply revealed the new state is debt-ridden with 51000 Crores of new debts after the formation. Making things bad from worse, the increased suicides of farmers is making Telangana government restless. According to the official data of the government of India, Telangana is ranked second in the country in terms of farmers suicides. While Naidu is concentrating fully on developmental issues, KCR is being bogged down with problems all over. This Andhra real estate is for sale. |
