Hyderabad: YSRCP senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana attended a meet and greet event organised at Hotel Paradise in Washington DC (Maryland) during his trip to USA recently. About 200 YSR supporters and fans paid homage to former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy on September 7. Former minister and YSRCP senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana paid glowing tributes to YSR. He said all Non-Resident Indians should come together and chalk out a plan to form next government in AP under the leadership of YS Jaganmohan Reddy. He said his tour was part of strategy to energize the YSR supporters in the US. âThe party president Jaganmohan Reddy will interact with all of you through the Internet soon. NRIs would have an opportunity to interact directly and discuss the issues with him.â "YSR is in the hearts of people as he implemented welfare schemes for the poor,â he remarked. He said YSRâs regime was a golden period and today the state has fallen on bad times and lagging behind by 30 years. He said YSR was only leader in the state, who could earn the respect at the national level. The speakers at the event stressed the need to continue the policies of departed leader and expressed hope that YSRCP would secure a majority in Assembly and Lok Sabha in the 2019 elections and Jagan would form the next government. The guests -- Rajeshwar Reddy G, Raghava Reddy G, YSR Reddy Foundation, Ratnakar P, YSRCP convener, Ramesh Reddy Valluru, YSRCP USA advisor and regional co-coordinator (Mid Atlantic), spoke on the occasion. YSRCP core committee members Kiran M, Prasanna Kakumani, Vinod Reddy Annavaram, Venkat Raju Reddy, Sushank A and Ramgopal D and other prominent NRIs attended the event.
