naavi US la 3 accidents ayinavi... 2 others fault 100% and another 1 50-50 fault because cop couldnt figure out and also insurance... nen baaga fight chesina but saale gaallu dobbettinru, paking lot la nannu guddi cops ki nen guddina ani cheppindi..... any ways.. here is how it works... - u call ur insurance and explain what exactly happened... tell them i am not going to use my insurance to get my car fixed, i want other insurance to pay for it... be very clear on this... lekapothe some howle reps will screw u... claim/case open aithadi with ur insurance company and as long as they are not paying from their pocket, ur safe and ur premium wont go up... - ur insurance will call the management insurance company and determine whos fault it is... if after investigation its determined that its management falut they will pay u... if its ur fauly then u can either have ur insurance pay for the repair or OOP chesko... or the outcome may be 50-50 like 50% ur fault n 50% theirs (depends on state laws) - if its ur fault ani decide aithe see how much r the expenses... if less than deductible, just get it done OOP.. if more, as long as it doesnt cross 1000 bucks ur premium wont get affected... - first go to a mechanic and get a quote to get an idea... chinna amount aithe take it easy and get it done ur self... ee insurance lolli antha avoid cheyyochu... check with desi mechanics who can do for cash.. | ||

Thammi, alantivi em jaragav As long as you are not at fault, they cant screw you up down there... So, filing a claim on your policy doesnt hurt you from your above Questions.. But they must share their vehicle details(insurance, registration and the driver license details) if they dont, you cant point on whom you are claiming this issue while filing your claim on your insurance. Also tell them, as per the law, they must give those details regardless of the fault responsibility. If they dont, tell them that you had no option but have to file HIT and RUN case with their truck license plate number. But try to file on their insurance as much as you can. I personally do that. But if you have no other way, file on your insurance, it doesnt hurt(as I said, you are not at fault) Also you can withdraw any claim at any stage. | ||

This is the response from the leasing office I also talked with XXX plumbing that was in the big truck facing you that our maintenance guy was speaking to. They made a statement saying that you should've never went though the gate with the vehicle sitting there. You will need to get with your insurance company. I believe they are going to have to decide whose at fault. | ||

If he didnt give his documents(insurance, registration, DL copy), you can call police and report it as a driver caused damaged without his documents in place). I did once like this online(online hit and run reporting in our local police web site). And... it worked. Also if the other guy doesnt have ins... your own insurance policy "Un/Under insured coverage" category. | ||

GG thammi.. maree thondara padaku.. you need to take time, think nicely, do some homework and shoot right.. You had two parts of your issues 1) Who is at fault of your damage 2) How to fix the OTHER junk of your already damaged paint.. Lets keep them separate and talk. About 1). Note his license plate number and try to get his insurance details etc. Take pictures of your car damage(only from this gate kiss, not your old junk). Call/check your insurance papers and find what is your deductible. If its bit high, hold on with your insurance. If you get that jeep insurance details, call his insurance and file a claim. Also get information from your apt management and open a claim or issue with them ASAP(get any reference number of this issue filing with them). Now. Go back and check your lease terms and conditions, if it is mentioning that the gate gets closed within some time, regardless of the object across it. (I am sure that they may not have this information cleared on it). Then tell APT mgmt saying. You are screwed royally since 1) Your guy wants to have a live chit chat with another guy on road without moving even after honking. 2) Your terms didnt mention that the gate gets closed regardless of a car is across it. So, You are responsible. Say that. If they show their yeass on you, keep quite and tell them that your attorney would take care of them and be back. Now fight with the filed insurnance claim(on his insurance). Lets say, you cant be able to do this, file a claim on your insurance. Now coming to part 2: Your old junk. Dont worry about it at this moment. Think about it when you end up in a shop for fix (due to the above gate kiss). Paint issues are TWO types: 1: Your paint is lost or messed up.: If its a little issue, use touchup paint, watch some youtube video. 2: Other object paint got onto your car(usually this would be the case): If this is the issue, watch this video and fix it by yourself for few dollars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzDOH1R9AeQ I used it for many times. Lets say your old junk cant be fixed by you, you can request the bodyshop(fixing your gate kiss), to fix that also and you need to pay out of pocket. Nen oka saari full raining day naa colleague car ni kiss chesina.... no dent but paint poyindi... went to a desi/paki mechanic, he did it for free... usually 30 bucks anandu but he gave it to me for free... u can also do it ur self... go to authorized dealer and give them WIN number... pain istaaru 10-15 bucks ki... u can paint urself... | ||
