One of my friend's brother was on Opt until July 20th, 2015. He applied on h1b and was on cap gap. Last month his h1b petition got rejected and so, he has decided to leave the country..he is not intrested to stay here now. Now, he has his fiance in Canada. He has a valid Canada visitor visa. Now, can he go from US to Canada through road and then Fly to India From Canada after 7 -10 days... Or does he have to leave to India from US itself? My doubt is, if he leaves to Canada by road and then flies to india from there...How will USA know that this person has left their soil ? Regular ga, From USA to india fly avuthe, they will take your i94 back before international flight and that will be a record for country exit ?
