I get the black screen right away - no windows logo, no login screen, no cursor, no dell logo - nothing. I have the installation disk for my 8.1 but how do i even get inside to install it. | ||

I had recently upgraded to windows 10. Everything was going okay. Now i tried to get some files on an external drive. The drive was not being recognised, there were some suggestions on the net to change some registry files. So i did that. Still there was no use. But then when i tried to restart the machine i got a boot error. So i ran a system restore which wasted some time and said that system restore could not be finished properly. Now the computer is just giving the dreaded black screen with no cursor, nothing. Atleast in earlier windows versions one could interrupt the boot process and get into safe mode. Now there is no way to do that. Nenu sanka nakipoyinattena...chass... |
