This is why using sales volume as a measure of quality is unfair to Apple. If only Apple would have priced like its competitors, then it's volume would have been way more than what it is right now and sales volume would have been a fair measure. P.S.: I am not suggesting that any competitor has even come close Apple's sales volumes at these prices. On what basis are you saying that these are good? I think sales (in terms of volume) is a decent measure. Of course, people may buy a lower quality product to save money but I don't think Apple's sales are a result of low-price. In fact, some of the products you mentioned are cheaper.
