I do not think a developer should be barred from getting that land again because of his failure in a previous instance. However, the government should have levied some penalty to punish the developer and compensate the state. Most importantly, how can the land be allocated at old rates?!! This reeks of corruption! The opposition party must corner the government on this. Even if this can't be reversed, the government should be scared to indulge in such acts in future. The opposition in Telangana is far more effective in my view. In AP, the opposition seems to be too weak. P.S: If there's something I'm missing, then please point out.
