even if it is 1 year or 2 years... and if say approval dates get back to 2008.. then ead date is at 2010.... say if the approval date is stuck in 2006... then acceptance date will move to 2008.... So.. if DOS is still following lets calculate India Eb2 dates at end of fiscal year i.e., July 2016... then... tommorow all we will see is that EB2 I -approval date - 2006 october EB2 I - acceptance date - 2008 october. (Best case scenario, my guess 2007 march). If Dos is doing the "move the dates early in the year scenario" which IV is saying it will, then: EB2 I - approval date - 2008 october EB2 I - acceptance date - 2010 october.(Best case scenario, my guess 2009) march. per my understanding: current process labor -> i140 -> indefinite wait -> ead -> i485/gc new process (rumored) labor -> i140 -> ead -> indefinite wait -> i485/gc naa original post lo unna "the national law review" website link prakaaram, effectively certain i140 holders ki ead munde ichhesi and then have them wait for visa availability (priority date to be current). the way it would be implemented is through 2 priority dates, one for ead (mostly current) and one for gc (same as the existing process). daani valla manaki benefit enti ante, ead vachhesthey secondary benefits of gc will be available, including employment authorization documents, advance parole authorizations, and I-140 immigrant petition portability. | ||

looks like this time it is for real: the approval date and acceptance date thing seems true. IV admin posted the following today in regards to this: "people need to understand that these fixes were decided and have been worked upon for months in advance, technology alignment, processes created, staff hired to accept/process petitions, office space/infrastructure created etc. There is a lot that goes into putting in changes like these. It may appear simple change to us, but government has to prepare and make many arrangements/processes before making these changes. That is why these changes and their announcements take time. But once the decision has been made and things are set in motion (that was months ago), the policy advocacy work was already done, and we just had to wait for the final implementation. Right now we are at the last leg of that implementation phase." |
