i always buy from a website where I can get hold off a representative. Indian Eagle gives good choices and prices. Recently for my friend who booked via agent it happened that his itinerary was showing a date and when he went, airlines told his ticket was two days past. then he had to talk and after a long discussion had to buy one way tkt costing almost 8K USD with cost split between him and agent. right now under dispute and if my friend proved right will get the rest half he paid for one way. not sure if this is some kind of scam or not similarity between beggars and SW engineers - When they meet after a while both ask same question "U r on which Platform now"?? | ||

last 2-3 years online better.....again it is coming back to agent drive they are giving $40-$80 discount on each ticket..if you are buying..with them.... problem is whenever there is any change like cancellation /update, they charge $50 more than air ticket | ||

Ot ba.. agents blocks tickets in lumsum and they have more deals than what you get online. So better first check with local agents.. if possible try to call airlines after your book through agent to confirm. .itinerary code would be able to pull the ticket. | ||

Monna colleague briefed me... Colleague vaalla friend vaalla BIL (student on F1 I think) wanted to go to India... he was looking for cheap deals and found an agent online who gave a very good price... Actual price is X, this agent in Indian gave a quote for X-30-40%.. this guy was happy and bought the ticket.. Went to India, njoyed a lot and return vacche roju cool ga went to airport to find out that his ticket was cancelled after he landed in India... (he should have checked 2-3 days before the departure of course, which he didnt do).. So agent gaadi dhanda is book round trip, cancel after landing... phone cheste he responded 1-2 times and said he will cross check what happened blah blah and next stopped answering anta... Jai Scam talli... |
