i think if you work 100% from home you dont have to pay client location state tax, but if you keep travelling then you have to. atleast thats what my payroll guy told

Suppose say i work from home in a state that doesn't impose state tax..But, the employer is located in another state.

Do i need to pay state taxes as my earnings is based on another location?
