there is still needs a lot to be done for manufacturing in India. So far it had only words than actions. You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist. ~Friedrich Nietzsche |

Kindal:The manufacturing stories of China, South Korea & Japan are not yet ended.
Asian...every company is in competition with India right now.. literally every country in Asia.. China.. More than .. cost cutting stuff.. industries are worries about counterfeits...because of that..china got an image of manufacturing a less quality stuff.. against this.. every industry got only India ..(keeping infrastructure and human resources in mind) yah policies in india are hard in ass.. need to get improved in that aspect.. once PCNR got over that...and I dont have hopes on Modi ..and India got only 5-6 years. only till expansion of panama canal is completed...once it is completed.. brazil and south africa.. are next manufacturing hubs, |

I am skeptical about the success of manufacturing in India. 1. There is fierce competition from other countries (Asian & non-Asian) 2. The manufacturing stories of China, South Korea & Japan are not yet ended. 3. Regulations in India are real pain. Long way to go before bureaucrats, politics, civil society & public appreciate the importance of deregulating, targeting the focused worker benefits & getting the environmental taxes right. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/sabina-dewan/the-quest-for-asi as-next-manufacturing-miracle_b_7198098.html? http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-04-01/meet-asia- s-new-manufacturing-powerhouse-vietnam !ntfi |

not only mexico.. Brazil and South Africa are also becoming major manufacturing bases * because of their FTA with USA.. but the problem is .. infrastructure in those countries.. ... companies need to invest so much in those vs compared to India.. So .. INDIA will be next destination for manufacturing... |

By Chinese media BEIJING: It is now India's turn to emerge as the "factory of the world", according to an article in Chinese official media, citing the economic downturn in China forcing companies to turn to India for manufacturing. Plans by China's phone maker Xiaomi and Taiwan's Foxconn to invest in India point to strong movement of Chinese firms to cash on growing Indian market. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/economy/policy/indi as-turn-to-become-factory-of-the-world-chinese-media/article show/48531321.cms |
