1) How important is the role of mentor. Will i get mentor only if m part of startup incubators? You will get mentors in hyderabad at all stages and also whether you are a part of a incubator or not. However if you are a part of THUB, you get several discounts and service tax discounts etc. 2) which is better? i) putting more time in polishing product and then release or ii) developing 80% and putting on market then release updates? It depends on the case to case basis. If it is a B2B product, developing 80% product is okay. However for B2C you need to have many customers. 3) i am inclined towards bootstrapping - thinking of keeping cost at check. should i think otherwise? when does a startup go for 1st round of funding? after you get enough customers for a B2C product. For a B2B product, you can start with idea. 4) need insights on hiring - interns or full timers? Depends on your budgets. 1st priority - experienced 2nd priority - interns from good colleges 3rd priority - freshers 5) I am planning to outsource initially then hire ppl to work on enhancements This should work.
