You won't need original I-140 from Company A, for filing for H1-B through Company B. You'll only need the I-140 Receipt Number, and based off the Receipt Number, your I-140 petition status document can be printed off from USCIS website. You'll need the original I-140 from Company A after Company B is done filing Perm Labor, and beginning I-140 petition along with Porting. "Chill Bro. I told you to let it go!!" - The Budhha. |

Need info on the following: "Is FOIA an option if employer is not willing to share the I-140 approval details? How long the FIOA may take? On my last I-797 for H1 extension with Company A, there is a beneficiary number mentioned. Is that useful in any way? Is there any other way I can get my H1B transferred?" Go PACK Go!!! |
