annai, in my tokkalo ofinion...best solution is....to accept I-485 even when the date is not current....and issue GC only when VISA numbers are available. I read somewhere that this is possible without law change....but I don't know why no body is talking about this option  | ||

One was increased use of EB-1 numbers and resulting reduced EB-1 numbers that had fallen down from worldwide and other countries to EB-2 visa categories this year. Probable EB-2 Visa Cut-Off Date for India in October 2015 According to the AILA, Mr. Oppenheim predicts that it will move to a date between February and April of 2005. That's all? Ouch! AILA's inquiry with Mr. Charlie Oppenheim of the Visa Bureau of the U.S. Department of State on 08/13/2015 indicates that in the coming years, the visa modernization proposal will bring a postive change by two actions: One of allocation of immigrant visa numbers early in a fiscal year. Additionally, the visa modernization is also considering "other options," to improve the visa cutoff dates. Mr. Oppenheim did not elaborate what the "other options" that are being considered now behind the dark closet now. Immigrants need to endure some more patience! |
