Don't get me wrong, I am not suggesting that all has been hunky dory for the last few years. I completely agree that the agitations prior to 2014 have hurt the city badly and it has lagged behind other cities in growth rate. I also agree that division of the state is hurting Hyderabad as there's definitely going to be a difference between being the capital for 23 districts and a capital for 10 districts. But I think that has been more or less factored in already and going forward there's no reason to expect Hyderabad to go further down. Also, despite Hyderabadis' (like me) continuing rejection of TRS, the government is not neglecting Hyderabad. "Sakshi is a most balanced and independent media. Not exactly...kaani needi baaga cynical view ani naa opinion. White it is true that Hyderabad is facing acute water shortage and there doesn't seem be a solution to this on the horizon, your views completely ignore the fact that Hyderabad is the biggest metro in entire South India. It has many high rises that are already occupied and many that are under construction. Hyderabad ORR is one of the longest in the entire country. Hyderabad Metro Rail (albeit unfairly delayed by the cursed current government) is going to give further boost to the city by connecting core areas in an environment friendly manner.
