Lucknow: Where are we heading? From modernity to insanity? A woman in Uttar Pradesh has taken inspiration of a TV serial and has committed to suicide. The incident came to light a little late but a young woman aged 22 who was based in Kanpur had been suffering from depression for sometime now. She was married and is under treatment for her depression. Last Friday night, Ruchi was alright until she watched her favourite TV serial. But she had seen the heroine of the serial take extreme step of committing suicide to, and Ruchi was too inspired by that act that she went into her bedroom and hanged herself to the ceiling fan. Family members said she was always talking about the serial and her favourite actress. So sad to learn that a life is lost for such a reason. I am really not sure how you got Moderation.
