lot of people migrated...

location..location...that is biggest advantage ..

people who migrated percentage is less than the actual telugu inhabitants there...

we lost so many telugu speaking regions while forming separate seemandhra from madras state...

telugu dominated regions like ballari, denkani kota, veluuru (vellore), krishnagiri etc are lost....

karnataka lo telugu movies ekkuva aadataaniki adhe kadha mari reason...

that is y telugu native people are more in india after hindi, n probably bengali...

2001 census data shows 85 million people listed Telugu as their first language.

AP(united) population was 7.5 crore as per 2001 census. Can safely say 0.5 million wouldnt be using Telugu as their first language.

So a total of 1.5 crore Telugu people living in other states which is freaking high.

In contrast, compare with Karnataka which had population of 5.2 crore but only 3.7 crore people listed Kannada as their primary language.

AP(united) should have been much much bigger than current one. Lost many areas during reorganisation of states.
