Hyderabad, Aug 6, 2015: Changing his convoy for the third time, Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao has included five Land Cruiser Prado bullet proof vehicles with a cost of Rs. 5.50 Cr replacing the existing convoy that consists of five Toyota Fortuners and two Land Cruisers. KCR’s new convoy will also have two Fortuners and one ambulance vehicle besides the five Land Cruisers. The Land Cruisers were bought with a cost of Rs.1.10 Cr each. The bullet proof cover was arranged by the Public Sector Bharat Dynamics Ltd. After performing Special Pujas for the vehicles at Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on Yadari, KCR came to his office in the Secretariat in his new convoy on Wednesday. By opting to use the Land Cruisers, KCR has probably become the first Chief Minister in India to use the high end convoy after Prime Minster Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee. When KCR took over as CM, Government spent Rs 4 Cr to change the black colour of his convoy vehicles into white. I am really not sure how you got Moderation.
