I have HP 17 inch, i3 processor with 8 GB memory and 700 GB storage came with windows 8 , later upgraded to 8.1 yesterday i have upgraded to 10 - I have created ISO disk as suggested by a Bro in DB to be on the safeside - No backup taken - I have scheduled to start at 6.45 PM evening - it took 1.30 hrs to do its upgrade, without manual intervention with 3-4 reboots in between - Finally while configuring it stuck for 30 min, i was patiently waiting - Finally i hard booted, this time it has completed everything, let me login Initial 30 min were little slow, and also observed non-responsive, slow behavior that drove me into frustration that i am sucked. After that it was Breeze , started working fast and smooth. Very Nice experience like stable version. Go for it. the whole process took me 3-4 hrs because of some hiccups. |
