there is and will always be... it just hard to find the correct director who can portray heroines like that... adi chesi commercially hit cheyyagalige satta unte well n good or at least promote it as an off beat movie like in Mallu or Sambar land... Content unte public definitely encourage chestaru... but every director now wants that commercial image because producers want money... | ||

Commercial movies are always about entertainment... leave ur brains at home and have fun... if u really look in to the details of it, every movie including Nuvve- Nuvve la kuda tappulu kanipistayi... This applies to any industry... Industry is promoting rape, sexism, perversion etc depends on the way u watch the movies... Gharana Mogudu movie is not an educational movie... it abt entertainment... Telugu commercial cinema etlane untadi and thats what will get the collections... If ur looks for importance to heroines or savitri type of roles from heroines, there ur not the commercial movie audience.. u cant blame movies for that... ni commercial aspects kosam directors konni konni scenes ni humanly impossible vidhamga teestaaru... That is just to make the audience happy... Chiru or Balayya oka 100 mandini kottadam choosi common audience will picture themselves doing that to satisfy themselves which is otherwise impossible task in real world (though this sounds funny, talk to B and C center audience)... aa scenes icche KICK kosam or entertainment kosam public will go to the movies... ippudu DB la unna manam once upon a time as kids aa fights choose used to live in fantasy world... Youth Tammu ni choosi 'abba pilla katti laaga undi' anukovadam or teenage girls Hrithik ni choosi 'he is so cute' anukovadam is all part of the movie making, thats what directors wants to show on screen so that they can make people happy, thats what stars also want to get the popularity... dnt u think stars know what they r doing... thats commercial cinema... Daanni change cheyyale ani try chesthe, it will be called art movie or off beat movies... Coming to the 'women' aspect in the movies... Women is a glam doll in our industry, not denying that... How many of u will watch movies like Raktha Sambandham or Devatha or any other roles portrayed by Savitri? Back to back same type of movies vasthe will u watch every movie in theater for years together?? Commercially success ayitaya?? can TFI survive or as a matter of fact any industry?? Lady oriented movies chesina Soundarya ippudu unte success ayyeda?? We audience have encouraged many lady oriented movies.. idi katha kaadu, missamma, karthavyam, ammoru, shubalagnam, mayuri, matrudevobhava etc etc... avi choostam but ave movies repeated ga vasthe we will lose the fun in watching movies... but such movies are always welcome...
