Bollywood hot hunk Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan directed by Kabir Khan is already set to become a blockbuster even before its release on July 17th. However according to latest reports, Baahubali has become a big headache for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Baahubali which was released on Friday July 10th is smashing all records not only in South but also surprised everyone in Bollywood. Theatres have increased the number of screenings as Baahubali is doing well beyond expectations. A leading exhibitor in Mumbai multiplex chain said they will not remove Baahubali for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and this has become a worrying factor for ••••• Bhai. An executive from a multiplex said “I am not saying that a Salman-starrer needs to feel threatened by any film, no matter how big a hit. But the fact is Baahubali is showing signs of becoming a much bigger hit than expected. It’s bound to affect Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It is likely that Bajrangi may not get the number of screens and theatres that it was expected to. Several theatres would rather continue with Baahubali. A certified blockbuster is any day a safer bet than a potential blockbuster.” |
