Thanks, I will look into it. What is more surprising is that most people do not know about this fiasco. What happens to people who show up for boarding and not have valid US visas? you need transit visa. regular post lo apply cheyyachu,you don't have to go personally. 30 days processing time antaru but my friends got it in 2-3 weeks | ||

My friend is traveling on an expired J1 visa (he came to USA to teach for couple of weeks). He is traveling back to Mumbai via London (American Airlines from Dallas). I recollect that London needs transit visas if your current stamp expired. Is it still the case. If so how do we apply for transit visa and how long does it take?
