As you or someone else said earlier, because of vizag's geographic location, it has got good deal from centre too as part of country's security strategy. Pharma companies, tourism, IT companies(unna konni ayina) centre chestene vacchaya? Even if centre develops it, what is the harm in that? With centre's help, if vizag is developed, state can divert some of the resources meant for vizag to develop some other under-developed areas. Vizag develop cheyyakunda ignore cheste feel avvali kaani, centre/state share lanti vishayalu peddaga pattinchukovaddani naa request.

Are you sure CBN never met or requested for railway zone ? I hope the railway zone thing is a reality soon. I am not able to find the news clips, but, remember reading that the ECoR zone rail dept folks were not willing to part with waltair or some other division which earns them lot of money. Almost all of Uttarandhra in ECoR zone. Rest of the AP in SCR zone. Because of ECoR, Uttarandhra people are facing many problems from many years. Not many trains are originating from Vizag. Even the trains which were originating from Vizag were extended to Bhubaneswar which is the HQ of ECoR. These greenfield airport, signature towers are all after Railway zone. ECoR is in the hands of Odisha. First govt needs to solve the basic problems of common people. That will be possible only if a new zone will be formed with HQ at Vizag. After state was bifurcated, many people expected the zone announcement was going to happen BUT BJP along with TDP is playing with the people. Even for the pushkaras, SCR announced many new trains but ECoR hasnt announceed even one train. That sums it up. | ||

yes ba. ekada evariki credit ivalo iyachu. HudHud time lo CBN did great work. HudHud ayintaruvata just 3 months lo motham normal ki onchindate state govt krushi batte. But vere vishayallo le. CBN hasnt met Railway minister ever since he took oath as CM. Even when RM visited Vizag in May, CBN didnt meet him. Atleast now he should meet him and should discuss about delay of announcing Railway zone which he is not doing. Epudu capital capital eh na. Ituvanti vatillo pressure penchali. Steel plant, HPCL, HSL, BHPV, NTPC, Vizag port, Cavern for oil reserves, BARC, Eastern Naval Command etc., Vizag is strategially geographically very impportant for INDIA.
