Looks like YSRCP has the edge here. I think vote for note is much more prevalent in local body MLC elections than MLA, LS, RS etc. The voters (MPTCs, ZPTCs, Councillors, corporators) see this as a rare chance of making some money. I think YSRCP adopted the right strategy of letting go of Prakasam so they can pump all their resources (read money) into Kurnool and win at least one rather than try both and lose both. Despite all the massive loot, Jagan seems to be in some liquidity crunch or reluctant to pump money directly from his pocket. Kurnool MLC seat alone costs around 10 crores for each of the candidates (a little less for YSRCP perhaps) I think. Parties may contribute a small part of this.
